For all of those interested in beautiful architecture, this temple will take your breath away. You can also climb to the top of the temple, which has a great view of the city’s skyline.
Khao San Road
If you want to experience nightlife in Thailand, Khao San Road is the place to be. A backpacker’s paradise, this street is busy every night of the week and the Thais really know how to party. There are nightclubs and bars from the top to the bottom of the street and many pop-up bars. If you need somewhere to stay after a long night of partying, check out this great budget hotel in Bangkok near BTS station.
Floating Markets
Thailand is home to many weird and wonderful traditions, and Bangkok is no exception with its amazing floating markets. A sight to behold, you won’t see floating markets anywhere else other than in Southeast Asia. Traders arrive early with their boats, anchor themselves on either side of the river with their goods and sell. This is a fantastic place to get some local cuisine to try, and you can even travel the market by boat in one of the many guided boat tours.
Soi Cowboy
As many people know,Amsterdam’s famous Red Light District Soi Cowboy, meaning street cowboy, originated in Bankgok and is definitely worth a trip whilst in the Thai capital. Unlike Amsterdam, this Red Light District is filled with bars that light up the whole street, so you can just visit the area out of curiosity and enjoy a few drinks. Most bars also have dancers, so you can grab a beer with friends and enjoy the spectacular show these girls put on.
Thai Massage
Thai massages are famous worldwide, and what better place to get them than in Thailand’s capital city? With a great reputation, if you want to feel fully relaxed before leaving Bangkok, a Thai massage is the way to do so. Massage parlors are easy to find and there are many to be found throughout the city streets. With massages including head and shoulder, oil massages and foot massages, what better way to spend your last Bahts?
